It happened! I finished Book Two! This is the sequel, of course, to Heliopause: The Questrison Saga™: Book One. This happened within the last several days, and in quick succession I printed it and made first pass edits. Now it is off to beta readers!
I am aiming for a release to coincide with the anniversary of the first one, or very close to it. That would be at the end of May 2019.
It feels surreal, but very satisfying. Book Two will not have a title or cover reveal for another few months, I don’t think. But just having it FINISHED? That’s enough excitement for now!
In addition to the beta reader process, I’ve begun discussions about the cover for Book Two. My design team and I are buzzing over it. So that’s a super fun, percolating thing going on at the moment.
AND, guess what? I typed the words “Book Three” this week! I’ll peck away at it a bit while Book Two is still fresh in my mind.
Meanwhile I’ve begun another, entirely unrelated novel, that I plan on working on over late fall/early winter. And of course I am working on my science writing projects. I hope to have more original science-related topics on my blog in the near future as well. Thank you for joining me for this autumn spectacular!
