Art of The Questrison Saga: Galla in Training

J. Dianne Dotson – Science Fiction and Fantasy Writer – Art of The Questrison Saga: Galla in Training

In today’s Art of The Questrison Saga, I’m featuring a new artist for the series. For “Galla in Training”, artist Emily Pearson portrays Ephemeris lead Galla-Deia at an earlier stage than we see her in my previous post.

Galla stands between two worlds: her upbringing by Oni-Odi on the star-city Demetraan, and her role as a Representative for the galactic body of governance, the Associates. She must go through a period of training to test her abilities and ready her for her Task of protection and defense.

She is headstrong, determined to do what is right, and has a strong sense of justice. But she also feels a little vulnerable.

Galla does not know what she is capable of. She is uncertain. But Oni-Odi believes in her, and she wants to honor that.

Emily Pearson provides this perfect snapshot of Galla as she begins her training. Her outfit is sleek and flexible so that she’s ready for anything. Galla may not know what lies ahead, but she’s not afraid to find out.

Emily is the artist for the comic book series The WildsSnap Flash Hustle, and Bonding. You can find more of Emily’s work on her website, on Twitter, and on Instagram.
